Transformers is based on a popular cartoon series from 1984 as well as being based on a popluar childrens toyline by Hasbro, and is directed by Michael Bay. It is about two robot teams from the planet Cybertron known as the heroic autobots led by Optimus Prime (voiced by Peter Cullen), and the evil decepticons led by Megatron (voiced by Hugo Weaving) and they arrive on earth looking for a cybertronian cube called the Allspark in which the Autobots want to use it for good, and the Decepticons on the other hand want to use it for evil. But both the Autobots and Decepticons are not the only ones involved in this. Because after an average ordinary teenager Sam Witwicky (Shia Labeouf) buys a yellow camaro with black stripes he finds out that it can transform into one of the Autobots known as Bumblebee in which Sam has possession of the allspark with his girlfriend Mikaela Banes (Megan Fox) also involved. The military led by Col. William Lennox (Josh Duhamel) and Sgt. Robert Epps (Tyrese Gibson) also get dragged into this after one of the Decepticons Blackout destroys their military base. So now it is up to Optimus Prime and the Autobots along with Sam, Mikaela, and the military to defend the Allspark as well as the Earth and everybody and everything in it from Megatron and the Decepticons.
