This is the biography about Dr. Seuss. His real name was Theodor "Seuss" Geisel and he wrote his famous Dr. Seuss books. He was born on March 2, 1904 in Springfield, Massachusetts. He published his first children's book And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street in 1937. During World War 2, Dr. Seuss worked in an animation department of the US Army to produce a few short films. After the war, he went back to make other classic childeren's books like The Cat in the Hat and Green Eggs and Ham. In September 24, 1991, Dr. Seuss died, but his legend goes on over the years.
